Charlene Pulsonetti, a New Yorker who has called San Diego home for the last several years, is
an artist, journalist and writer who’s passionate about sharing stories that engage, inspire and inform. While she has covered hard-hitting news, she feels most at home telling stories on the lighter side.
She is inspired by the American Southwest. After graduating with a BFA from The Art Institute of Boston, she participated as Artist In Residence at Petrified Forest National Park. Her work can be found in the private collections of individuals and institutions around the country, as well as at the Julian Arts Guild Gallery.
She is the author and illustrator of Howdy Joey!, a children’s book series featuring her family dog.
When not traveling or working, she enjoys catching up on movies and spending time with her husband and their menagerie of parrots.
