Jarrett has been involved in the creative world for more than four decades as she discovered her love of theatre while performing as a Jupiter Person in fourth grade. In high school, she interned at the Alley Theatre in Houston, TX, later serving as its annual fund director. She was an apprentice electrician at the Berkshire Theatre Festival in Stockbridge, MA, and was the development director for A Noise Within in Los Angeles, and development consultant for the Pasadena Playhouse and 24th Street Theatre. She has performed on stage with the Mammoth Lakes Repertory Theatre and Sierra Classic Theatre, both in Mammoth Lakes, CA, and directed the 2019 Murder Mystery for the Julian Triangle Club.
Jarrett began writing children’s books in 2015, and her first young adult novel, Out of Whack, is scheduled for release in summer 2022. Her second young adult novel, Kharmic Soul, is in its final draft.
Looking for a new creative outlet, Jarrett studied portraiture under acclaimed artist Alain Picard, at the Hudson River Valley Arts Center. She is available for commissions in both pastels and oils.
